The American Made Show – New Date, New Location
The American Made Show is the nation’s premier wholesale tradeshow for American-made art and handmade crafts. For more than 30 years, the American Made Show has brought together top artisans and retailers from the United States and Canada in the nation’s largest wholesale marketplace. The show offers thousands of product lines in more than 100 product divisions designed and handmade by American and Canadian artists and designers.
American Made Show representatives hand select each artist exhibiting so that retailers attending can be assured that the items they are purchasing for sale in their stores are authentically made in the US or Canada as claimed. At the American Made Show, retailers can find glass, ceramics, jewelry, wood, sculpture, fiber, metal, eco-friendly, recyclable and mixed media wearable, functional and decorative art.
The American Made Show is a wholesale only show attended by galleries, museum gift shops, catalog buyers, e-retailers and other specialty retailers from throughout the US. We expect more than 4000 buyers to attend our show in Washington, DC. Each registered buyer is a credentialed and reputable retailer of American merchandise.
Highlights of the show include the Jewelry Preview on January 15 and the 26th annual NICHE Awards on January 17. Educational seminars are provided by SnapRetail.Topics this year include Do’s and Don’ts of Email Marketing, How to Build a Facebook Following, and Growing Sales with Instagram.
New this year is a summit with leaders from the American Made, Buy Local and Main Street movements. Free and open to the public, the American Made Alliance’s summit will take place January 15, and will feature leaders in the arts and business industries who will come together to discuss policy affecting our ability to sustain and grow the American made industry and small, independent businesses.
