The California Market Center Gets Ready for Productive Winter 2014 Market, January 21-27, 2014

The California Market Center (CMC) will greet the new year with a dynamic selection of new resources to be showcased during the winter Los Angeles Gift & Home Market, scheduled to be held Tuesday, January 21 through Monday, January 27, 2014 from 9am to 6pm daily, with extended hours until 8pm on Friday, January 24, 2014. The January 2014 Gift & Home Market teams the California Market Center with the L.A. Mart for “two great Marts, one great Market” offering buyers arriving from all over the United States the freshest gift, home, and lifestyle products. In addition, buyers will be able to shop a world-class selection of fashion, accessory and baby/children’s resources as well as a sneak preview of the west coast’s largest selection of holiday and seasonal merchandise throughout the California Market Center.

“The winter show has proven itself to be the major buying season for holiday and everyday products,”

observes Gerry Seibel, Vice President of New Business Development for Gift, Home and Design at the CMC. “With our powerful, extensive ensemble of seasonal products, combined with the newest lines in giftware, home and garden accessories, fashion, children’s and related lifestyle products, retailers will find CMC to be and exciting, effective, and easy-to-shop environment for the buying needs.”

Dale Zizi, owner of the Los Angeles, CA-based sales organization which represents such leading holiday lines as Melrose International, Katherine’s Collection, Vickerman’s Trees & Lights, and Bethany Lowe Designs, agrees: “ January is our strongest show as buyers want to place their holiday orders earlier and earlier in the year. Our sales have never been better than since we relocated to CMC, and our buyers love shopping in this building!”

Buyers, interior designers, and industry guests are invited to enjoy a variety of perks, including receptions, Designer Meet & Greets, buyer breakfasts and luncheons, special promotions, to name a few. There will also be a press area for all media outlets to take advantage of in the Buyer’s Lounge located on the 2nd floor of CMC, featuring free wireless Internet, printers, fax machine, and a comfortable place to take a break.
