The Bird in Hand is Worth Two Non-Local Shops
Holliston, MA – Looking for a great local shop with a plethora of unique gifts? If so, visit the Bird in Hand located at 763 Washington Street. You are sure to find the perfect gift, and you will be greeted by co-owners Margrit Price and Meredith Nunes – both of whom believe strongly in community and giving back.
“I had moved from England to Holliston in 2003. In England, I had been a teacher, but to be a teacher here I would essentially have needed to requalify,” Price said. “I had always wanted to own a gift shop so when my neighbor and friend (Nunes) approached me it seemed too good to pass by.”
The Bird in Hand building has been in town since 1872 when it was home to the first bank in town – the Holliston Savings Bank.
