Urban Expositions expands sales, marketing team for P3 | Progressive Pet Products trade show

Responding to growing demand and strong feedback from the industry, trade show producer Urban Expositions has expanded the sales and marketing team for its new pet industry trade show, P3 | Progressive Pet Products.  Representing a complete reinvention of the former H. H. Backer Total Pet Expo, P3 will debut Aug. 24-25, 2016 at Navy Pier, Chicago.

The growing team includes a number of talented and driven sales, marketing and administrative professionals with extensive trade show industry experience.  The full P3 team now includes:

Dean Russo, Group Show Director

Liz Irving, Vice President of Marketing

Stacey Barrett Brooks, Show Director

Evan Shoda, Sales Manager

Chris Menefee, Sales Manager

John Motondo, Buyer Relations Director

Wendy Booth, Show Administrator

“We’re receiving tremendous feedback on the show since we’ve announced it to the marketplace,” said Courtney Muller, executive vice president, Urban Expositions.  “The addition of our team members will further drive our sales and marketing efforts.  This talented team will help us improve the event offering for our customers and build strong relationships and partnerships for continued growth.”

The first edition of P3 will deliver a forward-looking, fun trade show experience to one of America’s top destination cities – pairing the market’s newest pet products with exceptional educational programming and networking events. The show has already attracted the support of leading industry distributors like Phillips Pet Food & Supply and General Pet Supply, as well as growing roster of top brands and industry innovators.

A key highlight area of the show will be a special Incubator Feature Area showcasing prototypes and product innovations from brand new companies (less than 2 years in business) and inventors. The Incubator Feature Area will serve as an interactive forum for new manufacturers and inventors to exchange ideas and receive feedback from attending retailers on their designs and in turn for retailers to get a sneak peek at the latest innovations and product designs.

On the show floor and in its show promotions, P3 will also spotlight other key focus areas, including technology, natural food and treats, interactive toys, safety certified products and Made In the USA resources.

In addition to a fresh new selection, retailers will also find exceptional educational programs and networking events – all under one roof in Chicago, one of America’s top destination cities.  Look for more information on participating exhibitors, programs and events coming soon.
