Zak Launches Redesigned Website

Spokane, WA – In today’s society, a Web site is a vital link between a company and its customers. This March, when it launches a completely renovated version of its Web site, Zak Designs will ensure that its link to its customers is as friendly and informative as possible.

“This new site really improves our capabilities,” said Irv Zakheim, President and CEO of Zak Designs. “When we designed it, we wanted to make sure that we had a platform that could not only service our customers’ needs today, but grow and adapt so that we can offer them even more in the future. This site does that.”

The revamped zak.com site, which is scheduled to go live on March 22, provides a much larger platform that the previous site. This allows Zak to provide more detailed information about all of the products in its offering from both the Children’s mealtime products division as well as the Lifestyles housewares division of tabletop and kitchen prep products. As part of the new site, both consumers and retailers can also view related items, search for specific products and sort items according to collection or license.

Although the site is designed to provide information relevant to retailers and consumers, the primary purpose of the site is to engage Zak’s continually growing consumer base. It’s this goal that will also drive the evolution of the site that will begin almost immediately.

Zak Designs plans additional updates to the site in future phases including customer reviews, daily blogs, consumer and retailer newsletters, and interactive media demonstrations of products that will all serve to help keep consumers informed about the breadth of Zak’s product offering and the mealtime solutions the company offers.

And because Zak’s consumers aren’t just in the United States, the newly designed site will also serve as the main portal for Zak’s growing global consumer base as new international Web sites are established for each of Zak’s global offices.

“This new site much more accurately represents who we are as a company and what we bring to our customers,” Zakheim said. “I’m very excited about the site and the possibilities it opens up for us.”

Since 1976, Zak Designs has been committed to making mealtime fun for people around the world. Whether it’s through dinnerware and on-the-go products that feature children’s favorite characters or tableware and kitchen prep products that represent the latest global fashion statements, Zak is giving people the mealtime products that fit their appetites.
