Zak Designs Is Helping Kids Develop Environmentally Friendly Habits with New Good to Go Line

Being environmentally friendly is a choice. But that choice is much easier to make once it becomes a habit. And that habit is much easier to form if it’s learned at a young age. It’s with that goal in mind that Zak Designs is launching Good to Go – a new line of on-the-go mealtime products designed to help children develop more environmentally friendly habits in a fun way.

Every day, in cafeterias across the country, children toss away disposable containers that the food in their lunches are packed in. The Good to Go line from Zak Designs, however, allows parents to send healthy, homemade meals to school with their children in containers that are completely reusable and virtually eliminate the need for disposable containers. The Good to Go line includes all the on-the-go essentials that children need – from an insulated lunch tote and an easy-to-clean snack bag to a 12oz double wall Stainless Steel HydroCanteen and an innovative Snack n Sip Canteen with a ColdHold freezer disk that helps keep beverages cold until lunch time.

Not only does the Good to Go line provide children with the tools they need to stop using disposable containers, it also provides them with a great example of the importance of recycling those containers instead of throwing them away because both the insulated lunch totes and the snack bags in the Good to Go line are made from recycled disposable water bottles. And to make sure that these environmentally responsible habits are easy for kids to develop, the products in the Good to Go line all feature the most popular children’s characters. Because kids definitely want to look cool when they’re helping to save the planet!
