Free Business Consultations offered at August 2008 NYIGF
White Plains, NY – Through an exclusive agreement forged between the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF) and Gift & Home Trade Association (GHTA), veteran industry representatives will conduct free 30-minute business consultations with retailers, manufacturers and sales representatives. These “Only in NY” consultations, which range from retail-specific, to technology, publicity, eventing and education, will be offered during NYIGF, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, August 17, through Tuesday, August 19, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
“NYIGF holds an established position in the trade show industry, which facilitates exclusive arrangements with major industry associations,” said Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF director. “Ultimately, these relationships develop into beneficial programs and events like these that retailers can only find during the New York market.”
“Our goal is to keep members of the gift and home industry ahead of economic fluctuations with solid, tried-and-true professional advice,” said Diane Carnevale Jones, GHTA interim executive director. “Anyone who is new to our industry can considerably shorten their learning curve with the insights and direction provided in these sessions.”
Both GHTA member and non-members are welcome to register for these free one-to-one sessions. Space is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance registration is required, and is available through GHTA by calling 877-600-4872. More information about GHTA is available online at www.giftandhome.org.
