Great coffee and reasonably priced home decor at New London’s Familiar GroundsBy Holly LawtonExaminer.com

A great cup of coffee, reasonably priced home décor and jewelry for every age are found at Familiar Grounds.

Probably the best way to enjoy this shop is to indulge in one of the specialty drinks of the day and then wander about the large selection of varied merchandise hand picked by owner Beth Hutchison.

Freshly roasted beans are the base for the large selection of coffee drinks at this New London gathering place. Besides the drink items on menu, the friendly staff will create customer requested concoctions and serve them with a smile. Several seating areas, one with a fireplace and leather couch, provide ample seating and overlook the Embarrass River.

Home décor is the focus for most shoppers: wreaths, pictures, silk floral arrangements, and seasonal decorations are just a few of the items offered. But decorating is not limited to the indoors. Wind chimes, birdbaths, unique gazing balls, stepping stones, and lawn statuary tempt shoppers.
