Medway Gets Chic
Medway, MA — Amy Darst is a lifelong Medway resident who recently decided to move her business there to show her town pride. Darst, owner of Chic Boutique, 45 Milford St., said she makes it a point to sell unique clothes, gifts and accessories at reasonable prices. The store has been in business for six years, first in Holliston and Framingham. Darst said she’s so happy with the new location, she knows it will be in Medway to stay.
Q: Why did you decide to move to Medway?
A: At first I was in Holliston, but I grew out of the space there. I moved to Framingham on Rte. 9, but it was hidden and hard to find. I live in Medway and I know the owner of Restaurant 45, and he said next door would be a great spot for me.
Q: What kind of things do you sell?
A: It’s a mix of clothes and accessories, handmade from artists, gifts and jewelry. I used to make jewelry and I started selling it at art fairs. I decided to open the shop and little by little it started growing with clothes.
