Wellspring® Hires Director of New Product Development

Lancaster, PA – Wellspring, the company that brings art and organization to everyday life, has hired a new Director of New Product Development, Joyce Burkholder. Joyce comes to Wellspring with over 20 years experience in purchasing, sales, and product development at Ten Thousand Villages, Akron, PA. While there, she supervised 135 vendor relationships in over 34 countries. She also hired, trained and managed regional sales staff for over 200 retail stores throughout the U.S. selling primarily Ten Thousand Villages products. In addition, she participated in numerous marketing initiatives including in- store presentation of artisans’ stories, cultures, and skills to provide the end consumer with the full experience of the product.

In addition, Jon Elliot has also been promoted to Senior Sourcing and Operations Manager and Stacy Waller remains as Creative Director. Elliot recently lived in China and has experience with sourcing products and working directly with vendors. He also facilitates the LEAN manufacturing process at Wellspring. Waller has extensive retail experience with Cracker Barrel and other independent retailers, and worked as a showroom manager with Helveston/OneCoast in AmericasMart. She grew up in the gift industry, as her mother owned a gift shop.

Wellspring has been a family-owned business since 1980. It is based in Lancaster, PA and creates on-trend gifts and stationery that bring art and organization to everyday life. Wellspring products are both functional and fun and can be used as gifts can be used for all occasions.
