Acclaimed Hollywood Actress Barbara Eden Featured in the Celebrity Collection from The Trail of Painted Ponies

Itasca, Illinois – October 4, 2010 – Award-winning actress Barbara Eden has stepped into the spotlight as the newest star to be featured in the Celebrity Collection from The Trail of Painted Ponies. Ms. Eden has created an original Painted Pony reminiscent of her classic television show, “I Dream of Jeannie,” while artfully combining her passion for dreams and Native American dream catchers. This beautiful new Painted Pony is titled “Dreamcatcher,” and is decorated with pink velvet, gold and crystals.

“Creating Dreamcatcher‟ for The Trail of Painted Ponies is a dream come true,” said Barbara Eden. “I have always believed in the power of dreams, and it is such a pleasure to share the magic of dream catchers with my fans and collectors so that they may realize their own dreams.”

A portion of the proceeds from each “Dreamcatcher” figurine benefits the Wildlife Waystation near Los Angeles. For more than 30 years, this non-profit organization has provided sanctuary and rehabilitation to abandoned, wild and exotic animals and other native wildlife.

The original “Dreamcatcher” will be exhibited and auctioned at a private reception that Ms. Eden is hosting for Wildlife Waystation supporters later this month. A new figurine based on Ms. Eden‟s original design will be showcased for retailers at gift shows beginning in January 2011.

“Dreamcatcher” will be available from fine gift retailers across America beginning in Spring 2011. This is the second Painted Pony featured in the Celebrity Collection from The Trail of Painted Ponies. This creative new collection was launched in January 2010 with “Shiloh,” designed by the late actor and artist Tony Curtis. Proceeds from the sale of “Shiloh” support Shiloh Horse Rescue and Sanctuary, founded by the late Mr. Curtis and his wife Jill Curtis.
