Business—and Camaraderie—Boom for Wilton BusinessBy Heather Borden HerveWilton.Patch.com

Ann Nash and Mary Logan never expected their Signature Style monogram shop to take off as quickly as it has, so needing to move the business into a much larger storefront within their first year has been exciting for the duo.

“There’s so much more we’re going to be able to do,” says Logan about Tuesday’s opening of their new space at 134 Old Ridgefield Rd., across from Wilton Library.

“We’re able to display all of our merchandise, whereas before it just looked like sort of a bomb blew up in that store. This is going to be nicer for presentation, and people are going to be more comfortable shopping here.”

Adds Nash, laughing: “We won’t bump into each other! Literally, in the old place we were bumping into each other constantly, all day long, we were saying, ‘Sorry! Sorry! Oh, excuse me, can I get back there?'”

Both women laugh together at the thought. In fact they do a lot of laughing together, and they know that’s part of the reason behind their success.
