Food, Sun And Shopping At Bronxville’s Sidewalk Sale
Friday marked the first day of Bronxville’s annual sidewalk sale, with many local businesses setting up shop on the village’s streets and sidewalks.
The event, which is sponsored by the Bronxville Chamber of Commerce, is a great opportunity for residents to spend time downtown, try some free samples, and do a little discount shopping.
Local merchants who participate in the sidewalk sale see it as a chance to build their businesses and attract new customers. Now in its 10th year, the sidewalk sale has attracted more and more businesses every year.
During Friday’s kickoff, Gourmet 2 Go had a display of lemonade, vegan and gluten-free cookies and brownie samples. Dobbs and Bishop, the cheese retailer, was selling strawberry lemonade and giving out samples of Spanish almonds, both salted and chocolate covered.
