Turning Back The Clock At Biggleswade Shop
A shop owner will be turning back time when she stocks a new – or should that be old – range of handbags, shoes and clothes.
Julia McBride, who runs Serendipity in Biggleswade High Street, will celebrate the launch of the new items during a two-day celebration today (Friday, June 3) and tomorrow.
Customers will be invited to bring in the vintage stock and proceeds will be split evenly between the store and the previous owner.
Julia, who has run the gift shop for three years, said: “The idea came about when I looked in my wardrobe and found items that still had the labels on that I had barely worn.
“There must be so many other people in the same situation, who have bought dresses that they have worn once or perhaps never put on, that they would like to sell.
