New Product Aims to Eliminate Shower Clutter and Add Design Flair

The Shower Niche Kit is an unique kit consisting of three coordinating products designed to eliminate commercial shampoo, conditioner and shaving cream bottles from the shower niche or bathtub ledge.

Kristi Gregory, of Charlotte, NC, developed the product out of personal experience. After she and her husband renovated their master bath, Gregory was pleased with her newly decorated space but was bothered by the gaudy commercial bath product bottles that sat glaringly in the shower niche.

“We worked so hard picking out even the smallest details of our new bath but every time I looked at the shower, my eye was drawn to the clutter in the niche. I looked for months to try to find refillable, non-glass bottles for my hair products and came up empty- handed,” stated Gregory.

After some market research, Mrs. Gregory discovered quite a few others searching for the same type of product and thus she and her husband created Shower Niche Kit, Inc.

The kit contains two durable clear plastic bottles with heavy-duty pump dispensers and decorative embossing. The bottles are designed with extra wide mouths for easy filling. Also in the kit is a patented shaving cream can sleeve designed to keep the metal bottom of the can elevated from the bath or shower ledge to prevent rust rings from forming. The kit is available in two design patterns and three color choices.

Initial reactions to the product Shower Niche Kit from designers, consumers and retailers has been overwhelmingly positive. The product made it’s recent debut at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market held at Americas Mart.
