Seasoned Retailer Expands on Store Concept with Wholesale CollectionBy KidsTodayOnline.com

MN – Retailer Lynne Gonsior is taking the bright colors and funky atmosphere of her Minneapolis baby stores-which MTV once dubbed the hippest in the Midwest-into design with her first wholesale collection, Über Baby Lifestyles. The line, which debuts at ABC Kids Expo this week, grew out of the private-label collection she developed to give contemporary moms and gift givers a fun, bold alternative. “I have 20 years of experience at retail, first at Saks and then at Target and Marshall Fields, but I realized my passion is design,” she said, adding that one feeds into the other. “I got a great education at Target Corporation in design, merchandising and negotiating the best prices, so I felt very comfortable in taking this next step.” The line is filled with fun basics in sizes newborn to 12 months. The Posh Purple, Outrageous Orange, Goofy Green and Cheeky Pink signature colors flow throughout the collection of mix-and-match, modal cotton separates, which are offered in solids and Über Swirls, the line’s custom print.

Bodies include a printed one-piece, a solid zipper hoodie with print lining, a short-sleeve waffle tee, waffle pants, a Henley bodysuit, two knit dresses, a woven, printed wrap dress and leather pre-walkers.

For quick changes on the go, Gonsior also introduces Über Xtrawear, a three-piece set comprising both a short-sleeve and long-sleeve T-shirt and a pair of pants, which come in a zippered bag that then can be used to tote soiled clothes home.
