Lancaster, OH – Imagine combining chocolate with the charm of country life. Ellie Carpenter did and she used that vision to create The Truffle Shuffle, 504 E. Main St.

She sells gourmet chocolates, country primitives, candles and gift baskets, among other items.

“Hence, the name Truffle Shuffle,” Carpenter said. “I said I’m going to serve truffles and shuffle it up a little bit.”

The store opened this past week, and Carpenter said business has been good so far. She hopes to have a grand opening June 1.
