Paragon Introduces Michael Friedes Art Collection
Paragon is set to premiere an exclusive collection of art from award winning interior designer Michael Friedes at the summer markets.
Friedes’ designs blend the cosmopolitan sophistication of New York with the casual graciousness of California. His interiors are beautifully livable spaces layered with surprising textures, inviting colors and details. The 33-piece collection is a unique collection of art developed from Friedes’ love of art and inspired by his interiors.
“Michael’s pieces add a new level of contemporary to our line,” said Paragon Vice President of Marketing and Design, Malanta-Glassco Knowles. “His love of art and his extensive experience in interior design is reflected in the collection.”
“My appreciation for art started as a child,” said Michael Friedes of Michael Friedes Designs. “Not only did I love to draw and paint from a young age, but our walls in our Manhattan home were covered with a wonderful collection of paintings, drawings, sketches and prints.”
Friedes is an award winning interior designer with more than 15 years experience in the industry. A native New Yorker, Friedes had his own interior and product design firm in Manhattan before moving his firm to California 10 years ago. He has worked on projects throughout the United States and has been featured in Architectural Digest, Metropolitan Home and The San Francisco Chronicle. Friedes has worked with such notable companies as Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren Home and Pottery Barn. He is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID).
