‘Keep Calm and Shop Local’ Launches
Douglas County, GA – The Douglas County Sentinel, in partnership with the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce, Douglas County government, City of Douglasville, and Douglasville Main Street are working together to encourage everyone to remember helping our local economy is as easy as shopping locally whenever you’ve a choice.
“Keep Calm and Shop Local,” a fun takeoff from a popular rally cry (Keep Calm and Carry On), is designed to help remind everyone that their local shopping decisions do make a difference in the health of Douglas County.
“Sometimes we forget shopping local is a 12-month attitude,” said Leonard Woolsey, publisher of the Douglas County Sentinel. “Every decision we make, whether it be for a battery for the car or grabbing a gift on the way to a birthday party, pays dividends when those dollars are spent in Douglas County.”
