Spring is Blooming With New Little Shirleys

With the season’s first crocuses and daffodils popping out of the ground, Material Good is also cultivating its Spring Collection of Little Shirleys. Six new colors are launching this week in hues of spring: Mermaid, Lightning Bug, Buttercream, Basil, Breezy Blue, and Popsicle.

“Spring is my favorite time of year,” explains Material Good Founder Lauren Burman. “It’s such a fun process discovering new colors. These six are a rich and warm collection, on trend with spring fashion and home decorating themes.”

Each Little Shirley vase starts out as liquid clay, individually slip-casted and hand-finished on a wheel. The vases are hand-glazed, sanded and stamped with the authentic Material Good logo and founder Lauren Burman’s initials. With every vase purchase, Material Good donates 10 percent of profits to organizations working to create awareness around health and arts causes. Each Little Shirley vase is hand crafted by Seattle ceramic artists at the Material Good studio in South Seattle’s SODO neighborhood. The vases are four inches tall by 2.5 inches wide and come in a rainbow of 36 colors, ranging from glossy to matte finish. Retailing at only $20, Little Shirley vases are both meaningful and affordable.

Little Shirleys are available at nearly 200 locations across the country, including: Nordstrom, Seattle Art Museum, Ravenna Gardens and The Space Needle. Online orders can be made at Nordstrom.com. To view a complete list of locations, visit Material-Good.com.
