Ernst & Young Announces Tervis Chairman as Entrepreneur Of The Year 2013 Florida Finalist

Ernst & Young LLP announced Tervis Chairman, Norbert Donelly as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2013 Award in Florida. Award recipients will be announced at a special gala event on Thursday, June 13 at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach.

Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year is considered the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs. The unique award recognizes the significant contributions of entrepreneurs who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement.

“While remaining true to its founding values of producing high quality, American-made products with a lifetime guarantee, Norbert Donelly has led Tervis to think far outside the “tumbler,” says Tervis CEO & President Pat Redmond. “It’s an honor for all of us to have him recognized as a finalist for this prestigious award.” Donelly is one of three finalists in the ‘Retail and Consumer Products’ category.

“These finalists were selected from nearly 80 nominations by a panel of independent judges,” says Greg Rosica, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Florida program partner. “Collectively, these finalists grew their employment by 18 percent and their revenues by nearly 36 percent between 2010 and 2012.”

Rosica adds that this award program recognizes high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Now in its 27th year, the Entrepreneur Of The Year Program has expanded globally to recognize company builders in more than 140 cities and 50 countries throughout the world. Regional award recipients go on to compete at the national level.
