New Knox-Henderson Shop Presents “Curated” Inventory
Dallas, TX – The narrow storefront tucked between Kozy Kitchen and L.a.r.c. Salon on McKinney Avenue might go unnoticed were it not for the reclaimed-wood sign with Curated spelled out in black Sheetrock screws. Through the door is a small but growing collection of art, pottery, candles, light fixtures, jewelry and furniture.
It’s a mix selected by co-owners and siblings Bryan and Taber Wetz, formerly proprietors of Rising Gallery. After four years in the art business, the brothers shuttered the Dallas Design District’s gallery doors last September and moved to McKinney Avenue (Bryan’s wife, Amy, co-owns L.a.r.c.) to create an interiors-focused shop.
“We wanted to take the idea of working with artists and designers into a retail store,” Taber, 34, says. “We wanted to show that you can curate your own life, from home decor and furniture pieces to artwork.”
