Longview, TX – Rebekah Rogers was a 25-year-old nursing student at Kilgore College in 2011 when the daughter of a small business owner decided to dream.

“And I just decided I’m going to either spend X amount of dollars going to nursing school or I can have my own business — and what I thought were my own hours,” Rogers said inside the Longview boutique she opened in November 2011.

That was a few months after Rogers completed an eight-night course that’s taught East Texans how to start and run a small business for 22 years.
