Bryn Mawr, PA – On the days she is not at her new shop, Hillary O’Carroll is out traveling around eastern Pennsylvania on what she likes to call her “hunting and gathering” rounds. That’s when she is exploring “old barns ready to fall down, old warehouses,” and estate sales and flea markets for the vintage farm, industrial and home goods that make up the heart of her home-decorating style.

“It’s always an adventure,” she says. “You never know what you’re going to find.”

But O’Carroll already knows she has made one find that is a definite keeper: the storefront on Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr that is the new home to her business, Isabella Sparrow.
