Bossier City Shop Gets Funky
Bossier City, LA – Funky Fleur de Lis, a boutique that opened its doors in Bossier City in July, is bringing New Orleans flair to the area.
“We carry many personalized items and other unique things you can’t find elsewhere,” owner Jeanne Prestridge Rivers said, noting that the business has a location in Alexandria and that plans are in the works to open yet another in Baton Rouge within 1½ years. “The store has been doing fantastic so far.”
The boutique includes a variety of Louisiana-inspired items ranging from T-shirts to candles and cookbooks to voodoo dolls, along with a wide selection of LSU and New Orleans Saints paraphernalia. Eye-catching items abound and draw visitors around every turn. The store has a constantly evolving inventory with new products on the shelves every week, Rivers said.
