Former Rockford Educator Running New Home Decor, Gift Store
Rockford, IL – A longtime Rockford School District teacher and administrator entered the retail world recently with a new home décor and gift store in Rockford.
Pamela Laughlin opened For the Love of Chic back in November. It’s located at 4616 E. State St., Suite 1, just east of the Alpine Road-State Street intersection next to Vintage Zone and near Goodwill.
The store sells a mix of home décor such as vases, picture frames and furniture. Most of the furniture has been refurbished by Pamela’s husband, attorney Thomas Laughlin.
