Aberdeen, UK – A small area just west of Aberdeen’s city centre, a street lined with independent cafes, gift shops and vintage stores has quietly but confidently offered an alternative to the hustle and bustle of the main thoroughfare with a focus firmly on individuality, creativity and a dash of the unusual.

And as one gift shop prepares to join this creative corner of the city, it seems as though Rosemount Place really is blooming in the eyes of Aberdonians.

“I think Rosemount itself is becoming a nice area itself for independent shops,” explains Lorraine Tait, soon to be owner of gift and craft shop Pebble.
