Dorking Gift Shop Calliope Named Best Newcomer at Retail Awards
Dorking, UK -A DORKING gift shop has been named the Best Newcomer in the South and Wales at The Greats Gift Retailer awards.
Calliope Gifts, in St Martin’s Walk, was opened in February last year by former Borders bookshops boss Philip Downer and his business partner Andy Adamson, who served alongside him as head of buying and supply chain for Borders.
Mr Downer, managing director of Calliope Gifts, said: “It’s a real honour to be recognised at The Greats after just a year in business, and we’re looking forward to building on this success.
