Rare Device Opens Second Shop in Noe Valley
San Francisco, CA – Nestled between Noe Valley Bakery and Chocolate Covered in Noe Valley’s bustling 24th Street shopping district, design and gift boutique Rare Device’s second location (which opened in July) has the same modern and approachable aesthetic as its Nopa sister. Owner Giselle Gyalzen fills the space with kids’ clothing, jewelry, accessories and paper goods from emerging designers unique to the shop’s location, and plans to make it the new hub for Rare Device’s popular classes and workshops.
Q: What made you pick Noe Valley for your second location?
A: We live in Bernal Heights and come here often. When I found the space, I had a 1-month-old. It was the craziest time to think about opening a store, but we just couldn’t pass it up.
