Mother And Daughter Launch New Manchester Boutique
Manchester, CT – Tucked behind the Manchester Parkade shopping center is Details, a new boutique and salon that offers fair trade and sustainable clothing, massages, and hair styling.
Bobbi Hartling, 42, said she has always wanted to own a store that specializes in fair trade items. She opened the business four months ago.
“It’s all consciously traded clothing and jewelry,” Hartling said. “The people who make our things are getting paid fairly. There are no sweat shops. Everyone is getting paid for what they do.”
