Gadsden, AL – “Monkey Farts is definitely one of my favorites.” Stevie Paoi says, laughing. “It’s a blend of coconut and banana that kids love because it’s funny, and it actually smells good, so grown-ups like it too.”

Don’t worry, she’s not crazy. Paoi is simply describing one of her best-selling candle scents. Besides Monkey Farts, the candlemaker’s signature fragrances include Cantaloupe, Kettle Corn, Alabama Kudzu and Fruit Loops.

Paoi has just opened a shop in Gadsden, called Candles by Stevie. The store sells homemade candles, oils, wax melting cubes, soaps, shampoos and more.
