Upcycling Buzz: New Weedsport Store Repurposes Trash Into Treasures, Gift Items
Weedsport, NY – For Diane Reif, recycling has been a way of life.
It started when she was a little girl, watching her mother seemingly tear apart “anything to make anything.” Reif picked up the skill from going to auctions and garage sales, watchfully prospecting for diamonds in the rough.
Now, the Cato woman has made a business out of that concept, which has since become known as upcycling.
Reif operates Meant to Bee, a Weedsport store that specializes in selling repurposed items and antiques.
