Quilter Stitches Together Successful Retail Store
Brighton, MI – Gaye June turned her passion for quilting into a growing business.
In 2013, the longtime Brighton resident opened Creative Quilt Kits in Brighton Township, where she sells fabrics, supplies, patterns, books and kits; and offers quilting and sewing classes.
June employs about a dozen people at the shop. Quilts created by the staff are prominently displayed on the walls of the 4,800-square-foot store’s showroom.
