First quarter off to record start for Transpac

Transpac’s Product Development initiative has sparked first-quarter sales records for 2016. Retailer and sales representative response to the new Holiday and Everyday collections resulted in strong January show sales that has translated successfully on the road for a record setting February.
“Peterson Associates has represented Transpac since 2003. This is certainly the best product launch in the past several years, and may be the best we have ever been part of,” said Brad Peterson of Peterson Associates. “Innovative design, tremendous quality, great margin opportunities…our sales team is fired up about Transpac’s new direction, and so are our customers.”
Transpac’s product development team focused on exclusive designs, a variety of materials, and an industry trend analysis to produce must-have products for the 2016 selling season. Top Selling products include:
- Popular Talking Totem’s; inspirational and seasonally inspired giftables
- New Wall Art designs for both Seasonal and Everyday decorating
- Seasonal outdoor statement pieces from garden stakes to door hangers
- A new Point of Purchase Gift program called Get Your Fix with margin-minded pricing and creative designs
About 75 percent of the Holiday line is exclusive to Transpac; an intentional direction led by Transpac’s Senior Director of Product Development, Alicon Lee. “We focused on building cohesive collections that could be merchandised in a meaningful way to create individual statements. We are continuing this directive for Spring 2017, as well as expanding into exciting new product categories,” says Lee.
The new line has increased the company’s distribution points and offers retailers a wider range of product selection with strong margin building opportunities.
