Graybeal opened Alair in 2016 with her focus on small batch gifts and companies that give back. She believes fiercely in community over competition and building up those around you. Her favorite thing about owning a gift shop is being able to know the neighbors and supporting fellow small businesses, and finding those folks that are just starting to help them figure it all out. She lives just a few blocks from Alair with her dogs, who come to the store most days.
