A chemical engineer turned social entrepreneur passionate about global women’s empowerment, Cathy was inspired to create a company that employs and empowers Bangladeshi artisans that have overcome human trafficking with dignified careers. 700 Rivers works with 20+ artisans and trains them to handcraft all-natural soaps and bath products, employs them with fair, living wages, and provides them a safe environment and dignified work.
