Attention, Shoppers! By Becky Tyre

Signs advertising sales can be fun and attention-grabbing; they need not reek of desperation.

An effective sign is:

1 Visible
An effective sign is large and legible enough to grab shoppers’ attention.

2 Creative
An effective sign is creative and fun making customers want to take a second look.

3 Well-Placed
An effective sign is placed at a strategic location without too much attendant clutter.

4 Colorful
An effective sign uses a big splash of color—or coordinated color tones—to really make an impact.

5 A Good Brand Ambassador
An effective sign is a great marketing vehicle for your store—especially when it uses your store logo and materials creatively.
