Best Sellers in… Honolulu, Hawaii By Katlyn Murray

Cupcake Boutique

Having a baby can cause dramatic shifts in a person’s life, but for Jodi Mizumoto and Paul Lum, the birth of their daughter meant not only a bigger family but also a career change. The couple decided to launch Cupcake Boutique so they could improve the range of quality baby items offered in Honolulu.

The store has a play area set up for little ones to entertain themselves while their parents shop. Unbreakable toys are placed at children’s eye level and Mizumoto even brings in real cupcakes on Saturdays as a special treat for her customers.

Many of the items that Cupcake Boutique carries are made of organic and environmentally friendly materials—qualities important to new parents.
