Dallas Market June 2024: Editor’s Picks By Carly McFadden

The trade show floors were abuzz with buyers at the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, June 19-25 at Dallas Market Center.

Retailers and buying groups attended the market to discover the newest items across gift, home, lighting, apparel and accessories from permanent and temporary exhibitors.

The retail industry remains influenced by concerns surrounding the economy, upcoming election and inflation. Yet despite these headwinds, many wholesalers noted a revived energy and willingness to buy this June — some even compared it to that of a winter market.

I myself felt that energy as I happily perused the floors and floors of showrooms, keeping an eye out for new products and emerging trends. Here I present some standout finds from Dallas Market.

HOME DÉCOR, TABLETOP & DRINKWARE

Dallas introduced a plethora of new products to don customers’ tables and couches — and fill their cocktail glasses.  Trends observed include nature-inspired iconography, feminine finishes and an embrace of color.

JEWELRY & ACCESSORIES

Bows, playful earrings and sentimental bracelets filled showrooms this season. Customization and pops of personality are taking center stage in jewelry and accessories for 2025 and beyond.

KIDS

From batty aprons to cuddlable plush and animal-shaped water bottles, these kids’ products are soft, sweet and downright adorable.

BEAUTY, HEALTH & FRAGRANCE

Self-care continues to grow as a category as shoppers look for natural, good-for-you products to improve their health, confidence and routines.

SMITTEN WITH KITTENS

This editor and cat-lover must give an honorable mention to these fabulously feline finds.
