A Gift Basket in Ten Easy Steps
Want to pull a few products together in a gift basket? Don’t know where to start? Follow these steps and make a winning creation!
Place all products and supplies on the worktable before starting.
Fill the inner basket with heavyweight paper, pressing down firmly until the paper fits just below the rim.
Add food and gift items atop the paper inside of the basket. Place tall items in back and shorter items in front.
Position shred between foods and gifts to hide paper and create a soft appearance.
Include enhancements to add color and balance.
Pull a shrink wrap bag up and over the completed gift basket.
Cinch the bag at the top, and secure it with a twist tie.
Begin heating the shrink wrap bag at the sides, and continue heating the material from bottom to top until the bag encases the basket.
Complete the design by adding a bow at the top and removing the twist tie.
Review the finished gift basket before placing it on a store shelf or window display.
