1. What makes your store unique?
The store at Discovery Children’s Museum caters to everyone. I have carefully selected our entire inventory and made sure it pertains to our exhibits, is educational and is priced to sell to families of all backgrounds. My store offers books for new readers, educational help books, even guides for new grandparents!

2. What is your retail background?
I have worked in retail for 10 years in many positions, from sales associate to stock management, store management, area merchandiser and buyer.

3. What is the most popular product you sell?
This is always a hard question to answer because it depends on who is shopping. If it is a 4-year-old boy, it’s our wide selection of die-cast planes. An 8-year-old girl goes straight for the craft kits, but the most popular is our plush snakes and tumble stones.

4. What are your top three retail tips?
Know your product and how it relates to your museum, be well stocked and offer exuberant displays both in store and windows.
