Poppy Fields
Pantone includes poppy red as one of the trend colors for Spring 2013. The wedding community has embraced it fully and wedding accessories will consist of mixing poppy red with mint green and pale blue. Poppy as a print—and not just in red—takes on an Asian feel in the poppy collection of the fashion house of Prada. Ahead of the game on this trend, the home décor and stationery industries have numerous offerings that feature these simple and symbolic blooms.
