Purple is a year-round color and will remain the perfect guest by showing up in Summer 2012 and staying through the holidays. Paired with white and brights, purple is less whimsical than neon. It’s bold, but not as serious as navy. For fall, it takes on a more regal flair and is the ideal transition color for home decor. But don’t put it away for the holidays. Mix it up with traditional red, some metallics and a brighter-than-holly green for a fun, festive look. Don’t be surprised to see purple lasting longer than most 2013 resolutions.
