Regatta

Perhaps the nicest gift shop on tony Fifth Avenue, Regatta emphasizes whimsy. The store delivers on its slogan, “Fun Things for Fun People.” Owner Michael Hanson relies on a savvy manager to display and sell the store’s eclectic mix of gifts, accessories and home decor. Regatta’s calling card is its assortment of enticing, oversized windows. For his inventory, Hanson selects a few pieces from better-known lines, like Vietri and Enesco, and then adds lots of eye-catching finds from lesser-known vendors, like Knock Knock and Kikkerland.
