A Success: It’s Round Two for the “Solutions” Special Show

Once again, the leading international trade fair Ambiente is focusing on innovations from exhibitors in the table, kitchen and household field. After the successful premiere at Ambiente 2012, London product designer Sebastian Bergne will again curate the special show in the foyer of Hall 4.0. “With ‘Solutions’, functional innovation comes to the forefront and will involve products with a high market relevance that can help consumers in their day-to-day lives. There are clever ideas and further functional developments that we want our buyers to become familiar with. So I’m glad we can once more rely on Sebastian Bergne’s know-how at Ambiente 2013”, says Nicolette Naumann, Vice President Ambiente/Tendence.

The product designer, commenting on the special show, says: “I was very pleased about the response we received to the first edition of ‘Solutions’ in 2012. The visitors were very clear about the value of presenting innovations that do not necessarily have to be connected with a high visual design orientation. I hope that we shall receive even more applications from large and small companies for the forthcoming edition, so that the show may even more strongly represent the high level of innovation that can be found among the Ambiente exhibitors.” Sebastian Bergne’s design office in London creates the blueprints for design-oriented brands as well as mass-produced articles for multinational corporations.

With its unrivalled offering in the field of table, kitchen and household, Ambiente offers ideal conditions for a top-quality selection of products for the special show. In 2012, products by famous companies and less well-known manufacturers were represented in the heavily frequented special show area. For the second round, Bergne will once again be guided by a utility-driven concept in terms of layout. The aim is to make everything clear and understandable: the perfect setting for new materials, techniques and design features.

Ambiente exhibitors still have until 5 December to enter their innovative products for “Solutions”. After the closing date, Sebastian Bergne (Sebastian Bergne Ltd.), Gabriele Heins (Der Feinschmecker) and Claus Tormöhlen (GALERIA Kaufhof) will select the participants.
