Accent Decor adds 2 members to leadership team

Accent Decor, a provider of decorative accessories and home décor, appointed two new leaders to its organization. Jason Neal joins as vice president of sales and Melissa Burke assumes the role of merchant director.

Neal brings over 20 years of experience in the home furnishings sector, including extensive experience leading large sales teams for companies such as Klaussner Furniture for 18 years and, most recently, Hillsdale Furniture. According to Accent Decor, his extensive leadership background, skillset for customer relationship management and strategic selling techniques will be instrumental in the company’s growth.

Burke joins Accent Decor with 13 years of experience at Spanx, where she led sales and merchandising efforts with the goal of driving the growth of the shapewear category through innovative assortment planning and product development. According to Accent Decor, Burke’s ability to leverage data and insights to create assortments that delight consumers will lead to essential improvements to the wholesaler’s product assortment.
