America The Beautiful Country Store Opens in Collinsville
Collinsville, CT – The eclectic mix of commerce and culture that makes Collinsville unique was joined by America The Beautiful Country Store last week, offering Amish-made hardwood furniture and home decor, candles, pottery and other items.
“We’re a different kind of furniture store,” said Greg Wasoka, 33, co-owner of the shop with Kellee Abramczyk, a preschool teacher in Burlington. “I feel very proud of the products we sell. In this day and age, when more and more furniture makers are moving to China, it’s important to think about where your purchases come from. By buying one dining room chair in our store, you’re helping countless small business people survive here in the United States.”
America the Beautiful will host a grand opening Feb. 8, 9 and 10, Wasoka said.
