An Influx of New Resources Emerge For Fall 2014 Los Angeles Fashion Market at The California Market Center

The Fall 2014 Los Angeles Fashion Market will take place Sunday-Wednesday, March 16-19 at the California Market Center (CMC). Thousands of collections will be presented to buyers in hundreds of CMC showrooms, as well as specialty areas such as Los Angeles Men’s Market, TRANSIT Footwear and Accessories Show, SELECT Contemporary Trade Show, and Gift & Home Market. Amongst the many well-established resources at LA Fashion Market, numerous new lines and showrooms will be debuting at the CMC for the first time.

New resources include Marlyn Schiff, Knot Just Pearls, Mishky, Barse, She Bobo Handbags & Hats, Aubade, Aubudabe for Men, Lasome, Felicity, Spacegirlz, Sierra Sky, Life ElseWhere, Renovation, Profile Blush, Desigual, Sugar Hill, David Cline, Jade Jeans, Olena Dats, Mossee, Kathryn Hynes, Shoes Closet, By Lis, William Kim, Gregorio Sanchez, Supremebeing, William Meinel, Raphaelle H’Limi, Sarah Sumfleth, Vincent Bottesi, Esther Bonte, Leflow, Pull-in, wize&ope, Mamix and many more.

Emmanuelle Rienda, Founder and Creative Director of a new showroom at the CMC, Le FrenchLab, is excited for the opportunity to debut their French lines this LA Fashion Market and release them into the LA fashion industry. “Some of our designer lines are waiting to be released for the first time in the US Market” says Reinda. “With the California Market Center’s network of professionals, we know that Le FrenchLab will continue to grow in the LA fashion industry and pique the interest of the media and buyers. I am really proud to be a part of this experience and excited to showcase our amazing designers.”

Additionally, Le FrenchLab, along with Fashion Forwards and Splash.Pr, will be hosting a Runway Show on Sunday, March 16 in the Main Lobby of the CMC with cocktails beginning at 5:30p. Open to buyers and industry guests, the runway show will feature the many French lines they represent, as well as introduce collections for the first time in the US.

Running concurrently with LA Fashion Market will be the Los Angeles Men’s Market (LAMM), March 17-18, on AREA 4, located on the 4th Floor B-wing of the CMC. Over 90 contemporary men’s fashion and accessory brands that will be featured include ALIFE, Zanerobe, Herschel Supply Co, K-Way, Ezekiel Clothing, Han Cholo, Obey, and Primitive. The two-day event will also bring together buyers from the West Coast’s top retailers including American Rag, Active Ride Shop, Revolve Clothing and Kitson.

Kellen Roland, The NTWRK President and co-organizer of LA Men’s Market confirms that following the success of October 2013’s Market, it is now “rapidly emerging as the quintessential West Coast men’s buying event.”

Along with LAMM, other special exhibit areas that will be running during LA Fashion Market and introducing a variety of new brands are SELECT Contemporary Tradeshow and TRANSIT Footwear & Accessories Show. Sunday-Tuesday, March 16-18, SELECT will be held in the Fashion Theater located in the Main Lobby, while TRANSIT will be held on the 13th Floor Penthouse.

New contemporary collections and directional brands debuting at this edition of SELECT include emerging made in LA brand, Milti Puce, LA jewelry brand, Nik Stone, Isabel de Pedro, from Spain, Oblique, from Italy, California based jewelry brand, Leslie Francesca, Elliott Label, from Australia, lux bohemian accessories by Kim & Zozi, bohemian collections by Z&L Europe, and many more. While at TRANSIT, new exhibitors will include Sendra, from Spain, emerging LA brand, Lou Earl, renowned vintage brand, Golo, Daniella Lehavi, from Israel, blogger favorite, Modern Vice, luxury men’s footwear brand, Dianne Holloway, luxury handbags by Aimee Kestenberge, and American artisan footwear brands, Trask and Walk-Over.
