Anne McGilvray & Co. to open flagship showroom at Dallas Market Center
The 30,000-square-foot showroom, to be located on the second-floor atrium of the World Trade Center, will be the largest showroom in the country for Anne McGilvray & Co. and is part of the company’s strategic business plan to provide enhanced visibility and opportunities for growth. Part of the footprint of the Anne McGilvray & Co. space will include Kimberly Wahlberg Company.
“As a retailer myself, I have personally witnessed the evolution of Dallas Market Center and the positive changes they have made over the years, making them an ideal partner,” said Anne McGilvray, founder of Anne McGilvray & Co. “For the past 25 years, our offsite Dallas showroom has been the heart of our business, where we have built a strong, loyal customer base and created a warm, inclusive company culture. We are committed to bringing that same level of hospitality to our retailers, vendors, and reps at the DMC.”
The Anne McGilvray & Co. showroom at Dallas Market Center will feature dozens of brands in gift and home, including Blue Q, Chronicle, Penguin Random House, Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster, Kikkerland, Fred Douglas and many others. The new showroom will host special celebrations and exciting daily events for the grand opening, to be announced at a later date.
“We are excited to be moving to the Dallas Market Center, widely recognized as one of the top gift and home trade centers in the country,” said Liesl Ludwig, CEO of Anne McGilvray & Company. “This move will enhance our exposure and accessibility to our customers, vendors, and prospective partners, while also ensuring continued growth and success for our company.”
The news follows a series of exhibitor announcements from Dallas Market Center including the recent announcement of a flagship Dallas showroom for OneCoast, also opening in January 2024, and the launch of the reimagined Temps at Total Home & Gift Market, which will be the largest summer temps in more than ten years.
“We welcome this iconic company whose multi-generation leadership and tradition of excellence are an amazing addition to our marketplace,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “This is a big win for retailers, who will be able to efficiently see top brands, and for vendors who will reach a wider audience of eager buyers as we continue to welcome more retailers from across the country.”
Added Joan Ulrich, executive vice president of leasing at Dallas Market Center: “This is an important addition to our marketplace but it’s especially meaningful to me because I have known this family and respected them for decades. We are thrilled to welcome the McGilvrays.”
