Apple &Bee’s Environmental Efforts Are Honoured At Fashion Group International Awards

Apple & Bee – one of Australia’s premiere sustainable fashion brands (www.appleandbee.com) – was honoured for its unique blend of design excellence and environmental consideration at last week’s Sydney Fashion Group International Awards. Nominated in the Sustainable Design category

Apple & Bee was recognized for its dedication to creating products which are not only kind to our planet but are produced by a fair and ethically sound process.

Formed in 1930 by some of the most powerful American women of that era – namely Elizabeth Arden, which opened its Sydney franchise in 1967. Providing an opportunity for individuals in the Fashion Industry to network, support and drive productivity – FGI of Sydney has events and forums throughout the year – Friday’s award show the pinnacle of the Association’s calendar. To be nominated is one of the greatest distinction the organization offers – and to be awarded runner up in their category – a true testament to the genius behind the Apple & Bee brand.

Co-founded by two Australians – Brett Pattinson and Claire Morris – the carbon neutral company consists of Fashion and Tote-style bags, a make-up and toiletry collection, an assortment of baby, young children and stationary products – with the launch a skincare range imminent. Not content to simply stop at their brand’s “Colony Collapse Disorder” and varroa mite. The pair raises funds for their Bee Foundation through the sale of the HONEY collection which is stocked at Susan stores across Australia – just another one of the many reasons behind FGI’s inclusion of Apple & Bee in their Awards of excellence. Designed in Australia – the complete Apple & Bee range is available now in the Australia, US, Japan & Europe. Apple & Bee – creating stunning products that last – in a way that ensures our earth will too.
